Kanon, a skilled private investigator, has taken another mission. she is tasked with gathering any incriminating information she can find on a corrupt principal and bring him to justice. to be able to do her job effectively and without raising any eyebrows, she will take on a new identity as a new transfer student. kanon’s plan proves to be a successful one, and she goes about her day posing as a student, waiting for a chance to accomplish what she came to do. finally, in gym class, kanon silently sneaks away, going straight to the principal’s office. she quietly cracks open the door and peers in. empty. she enters and begins rummaging through all of his cabinets and drawers. unable to find anything, kanon lets out a frustrated sigh, before her eyes pan over to a large painting at the head of the room. she paces over to the painting, carefully lifting the frame off to uncover a stack of folders stashed behind it. the contents of the folders are messages from his shady patrons, thanking him for his continued support in funneling and cleaning their illicit funds through his school. now armed with all the evidence she would need to take this scumbag down, kanon rushes for the exit, when the door abruptly swings open in front of her. the principal enters, intensely glaring at kanon, before spotting the handful of files she’s holding behind her back. furious, he swats the files to the floor and snatches up kanon, taking her away to a secluded storeroom…
